About massage Therapy

Massage therapy is a hands-on healthcare practice that focuses on assessing and treating the muscles, joints, and connective tissues of the body.

Using a variety of techniques, massage therapy can help reduce pain, improve mobility, relieve tension, and support the nervous system.

Treatments can address specific injuries or areas of discomfort, as well as help manage stress. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, dealing with chronic pain, or simply looking for some self-care, massage therapy can play an integral role in health & longevity.

What a session looks like

Interview & Assessment

On your first visit, we will take 5 to 10 minutes to discuss your health history and your reason for seeking treatment. With ICBC claims, this may include a more in depth assessment in order to establish a baseline before your treatment.

Hands-on Massage

I use a variety of massage techniques including relaxing Swedish massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, joint mobilization, and more. I will cater the treatment to your needs and preferences.

Homecare & Reassessment

The last 5 minutes of your treatment are for reassessing for changes in your body after the massage. This step is particularly important for ICBC patients, but it is also beneficial for you to see the effects of massage firsthand!

Treatment Plan

After your session, we’ll design a personalized plan tailored to your needs. Most clients benefit from monthly treatments, but the frequency may vary depending on your body, goals, and lifestyle.

About me

Neesa is a 2025 graduate of the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. She has always had an interest in the workings of the human body and movement, so massage therapy was the natural career choice after spending much of her twenties travelling and working abroad.

Neesa’s treatment style is best suited to those who prefer an integrative approach. She uses long, flowing strokes to promote a sense of continuity throughout the body, recognizing the interconnectedness of all its parts. By blending both active therapeutic and passive relaxation techniques, she creates treatments that are both effective and restorative, tailoring each session to the unique needs of her clients.

Outside the treatment room, you can find her exploring the rivers, lakes and beaches of Vancouver Island with her dog Suni.
